Title: Godzilla vs. King Kong: Whose Poops Would Be Bigger?

With the latest version of Godzilla vs. King Kong, I guess some people wondered.   :grin:  The scientific thinking involved is however interesting.  Kind of like be a fly on the wall when engineers meet and talk.  :grin: :grin: :grin:

Mammal bio-mechanics/chemistry vs reptilian.  A gorilla vs a crocodile.  Size them both up 30 times.  I don't think they'd end up fighting each other.  Pure science fiction.   :grin:

Easy peasy.... Godzilla is nuclear / radioactive and therefore would not poop. Steam would come out of his anus like a nuclear power plant.

I think the film showed a Kong load early on.

 :grin:  The article did mention that reptiles poop like birds but in water.  They also might hold it longer.  Komodo dragons go maybe 12 times a year that's why they move the way they do.  They have to carry a load.   :grin: :grin: :grin:

Mammals (like King Kong) discharge waste liquids and solids through separated discharge systems.  Mammal large intestines absorb water back from the liquified intestinal contents with a resultant relatively compact, semi-solid turd.
Reptiles (like Godzilla) and birds, deliver both liquid and solid waste into a common collection sac organ called a cloaca.  Thence, after mixing in the cloaca, the more soup-like mixture is discharged.  They also tend to discharge smaller volumes in more frequent events.
Results 'on the ground' would favor a vote for King Kong.

hmm lets see......banana's nuts and berries....thousand s of lbs...and an occasional goat or 50 salmon.....vs a train car, a bus full of people and battleship parts....I know which would hurt more coming out.
