I've looked through my hundreds of photos and this is the only one I found.

Close enough!  Guzzi did mount the coils with rubber washers for a little vibration protection.

Yeah, saw that in the parts diagram. And I guess theres a reason for it. I'll see what I can make up.

Latest update
Got all the polished parts, tank and side covers and could not resist fitting it.
I chose a very dark green metallic (Lotus Epsom Green) that looks almost black indoors but really comes alive in the sunshine. Custom made decals 948-Ti (949 would be more correct but doesn't look as good), Ti for Touring idroconvert. Side panel grills still missing.
Dashboard, valve covers, grab rail, seat and rear light from 850T.

Thanks for asking!
Been a little lazy behind the keyboard, but productive in the garage.
Today I started it up for the first time and took a short ride, maybe 5 kms. A small leak where the hose to the radiator comes out of the converter, but apart from that everything seems to work. Still got the gauges to wire.
I'll try to upload a video and will take some pictures of the finished bike!
All things considered very happy!

Thank your all help and parts!!!
Heres a few additional pics.

MMB electronic gauges. Tacho works fine but I need to get a sensor for the speedo, the sensor for the Motogadget is obviously not compatible.

Thank you! Very nice of you to say that. I have been enjoying your excellent work here for years now!!

I'm really happy with the bike. I had never ridden a Convert before but it is all that I expected. Supersmooth and really easy to ride in town. It is the perfect complimentary bike.
