Silver. Flopped my Norge at near 0 mph, scuffed it and broke 3 tabs that hold the nuts the inner fairing screws to. Thanks. I'll call Tuesday and order one if it's affordable for me right now.

Thanks Dave, a real possibility. Keep them coming. I won't decide on this one until I know what a new one cost on Tuesday.

Thank you. With the bodywork and paint changing from brown to silver I'd rather go new. And if the tabs were broke it'd be just as bad as mine.

If you have the broken tabs, there is a possibility they can be repaired. When I had my Norge, folks began finding them broke simply from removing pieces for routine reasons. As a preventive measure, I took the liquid JB Weld and filled those wells, (cavities), that put the pin in whatever alignment it needed to be in. It worked out well and I never had any trouble with them breaking.

In your case, assuming the tabs still have a little flat plastic on them, you could use masking tape to create a well, fill the well and place the tab back on top. I would be prepared to have something to hold the tab in the proper position for the needed cure time.

Food for thought.

car repair shops are very well trained in repairing plastics, ask there. Cars have lost of plastic that gets broken in accidents.

A blast from the past...

Would a two-part epoxy work on broken Norge upper fairing tabs?  Something better? Hot glue? Bubblegum?

Do you know if the fairing is ABS?  I think automotive (and motorcycle) manufacturers are required to identify the plastics on their vehicles.

I have found that two-part epoxy doesn't stick very well to ABS.  However, I have had success repairing ABS using ABS glue and pieces of LEGO blocks.
