More snow...more salt and sand...winter is sooo looong here!

  Gotta figure out how to bug outta here and ride some part way through this in future years, at least as long as we live here. Texas, Florida, Arizona is to far from home (unless it's by motorcycle during a good ride) but... it sure would be nice for a little longer summer (PA, VA, W.VA, MO, etc..) Cabin fever... big time... let go of me!!

I'm surprised how much more temperate the climate is in south Jersey. It's still pretty cold, but the few years we've been here we get a fraction of the snow that north Jersey and PA get.

I'd still move to AZ in a heartbeat though.

Perfect riding weather down here on the Gulf coast...aside from 3 months of heavy humidity, the rest of the year is perfect for any outdoor activity...biking, moto, golf, tennis, hiking, even going to the beach (although it's not as pretty as other beaches)...only problem...it's far away from Colorado and the mountains!

The best thing I've ever done for my asthma and my mental health (being cooped up inside all winter) is to come out to AZ for the winters.   Toss a bike on a trailer and drag it out and ride away!

weve had 2 days in the 90s glad i dont live up nawrth. im getting my tammters started already! hot peppers in a few weeks. Arkansas has crazy weather. black berrys are putting blooms on. Im ready, once it got down to 20 this last winter!

Yes sir, one of the finer places on the planet- the Adirondacks in the summertime! Just hard getting there through mud season and long winters.

Here in southern New England I ride all winter, road conditions permitting. This year that meant riding at least a couple of times a week all winter long. In many ways, I prefer it to riding in sumer heat and humidity.

 The weatherman ran out of cold today.  It suddenly was 80 degrees F. at 3;30 PM today.
 I'm certain that he has ordered a resupply of cold and will freeze us again before March is over.

I'm in central NC. We can ride off and on all winter. The mid summers can get a little on the hot side unless you ride a couple hours to the smokeys, then you had better pa k a jacket for morning and evening rides. I'm 4 hours from the coast and two hours to the most beautiful mts in the world, the great smokies:)

Cover the bike in a tarp...get a map of the High Peaks, and strap on some snowshoes!

Then come home and stare at the bike....   sorry.
