First off, congrats on the new bike, I do like the look. It is a bit like Arlen Ness meets HD at the Moto Guzzi factory. What I don't understand is how MG lets bikes leave the factory with parts missing, signals not working etc. Sorry guys, quirky manufacturer or not, TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Because it's a toy we over look the shortcomings. If you went to pick up a new Chev truck (example only) and got to the dealer and found parts missing and signals not working, you'd be pissed. Probably refuse to take it or request another one. I can't even imagine a dealer telling you to drive home with signals not working. Lug the engine or not, why would the bike throw a code, "something rotten in Denmark" boys and girls. Hate to be a downer but when you pay BIG MONEY, I don't think you should have these problem on the first day of ownership.Just say'in.Tim
Congradulations Luap, I know your gonna love it. Not that the mgx won't attract attention, but you really got to find yourself a bat man outfit.
Update. The battery cable pull fixed the engine light. All's well there. Here's a photo I snapped when I stopped to put on my rain suit. Here it is when I got home. Now the fun starts. Modifying it to add all my doo-dads.
I have a specification question. Will a twelve pack fit in the cases?
12 pack of what?
Luap, your bike is both elegant and sinister, amazing really. I'm guessing most people will think it is a custom build.
Dammed if I understand why I like it!
I think:1) The 1400 series is the best bike Guzzi have made in years2) It embodies the Guzzi "spirit" better than any in some time3) They are fantastic to ride.
Depends ?
