I agree. I had a black-tanked 2012, but even that was a bit much. I'm thinking the Racer is too gaudy and the Stone is a bit too plain. Maybe the Special will be just right. I guess that's why there are three models.
Personally I wish they would put one out there with the full Record kit, I'm not even sure if they are offering that as an add on anymore. I know the Stucchi fairing is available, but I don't like its design as much as the Record version.
There are limited record kits available again. Thanks for the info, How does one obtain a kit? Order through dealer or is there another source?Additionally it looks like the Special is being supplemented with scrambler kits for 2016.
^ That looks great! I am generally not a fan of matte paint, but the new Stones look good. I might consider one of those instead of the Racer (and then fiddle with it by eliminating the rear fender, lowering the gauges, installing LOUDER pipes (hello, Pete!), replacing the seat and handlebars, etc.
Very handsome and well done. Incremental improvements. They need to put twin front disc brakes on though.Waiting for the curtain rise on the mystery bike between a small and big block.Little Goose still thinks she is the prettiest small block ever made. She winked at me and we roll out tomorrow morning around 8 AM for a blast before the heat builds.
^ Ha ha!By the way, the US MG site has a catalog you can download that shows all of their current bikes. The V7 II Racer is shown with both chrome and green tanks, and with brown seats. This new matte black one is not in the catalog. Interestingly, both the chrome- and green-tanked V7 Racers are new IIs, with the horizontal frame.
^ Scroll down to the V7 II Racer page:http://www.motoguzzi-us.com/public/upload/brochure/mg_range_my15.pdfThere they both are.
But I don't I trust that brochure.
What's the MSRP on one of these. At least it would hold value even though the upgrades aren't that awesome
