NGC threads. Forum related but no GC.

I left WG many years ago because I was hot headed and very political, in my old age that has changed some and I've learned to chill. I still maintain my political hot headedness but now...eh. I also realize one reason this forum has remained successful is because religion and politics are not allowed. Lots to be thankful for this forum from m, met some really good people here and lots of help related t my Bassa.

Some people that don't know me or haven't talked with me in person, get the wrong picture from the forum.  Lannis and I have had some vigorous discussions on line.  In person,  just as lively but different if someone was listening in.

I thought that you and Lannis were the same cantankerous old codger's in person as on WG.

We are or rather we think a lot on a number of issues.  Scary....

How 'bout just offing an offending post now and again and save the thread. Seems to be enough moderation action around here to do that. Lots of other forums in need of moderation do the same. Goes hand in hand with a warning.

 That does happen , but some topics are simply out of bounds . Seriously , the mods job is to keep peace . We don't wan't Luap to say " You DON't want me to come back there"

Got it. I figured it was a massive swipe and then some otherwise good threads get killed along with the infection.

I know of at least three very high profile forum/message board situations where individuals will deliberately bait others into keyboardcommando attacks or simply, directly post deliberately inflammatory posts to get another individual's entire thread pulled.
