That looks good to me. I just put an Emgo Venom on my Griso. I like it.

Nice, any problems with fitting/mounting?

What's the good, what's the bad about the performance?

Had to bend the brackets a bit. Doesn't block any wind, but it looks cool. At least the wind I do get is smooth, no buffeting.

Thanks.... It's really tempting. I can't imagine it doesn't at least smooth out the wind like my Dart Marlin.

These kind of fairing are meant to be duck and tuck...at least it was on my friend's cafe build off a W800 LOL...

But the surface area is larger than the Dart Marlin, and the angle is no worse.

well, for me the Dart pushes the air to my chin roughly...

maybe the fairing looks bigger than it is from the picture...cus Hymes said no buffeting  :thumb:

I had a Dart Marlin on my Griso, but it didn't do anything except look good. The Emgo Venom does a much better job of splitting the air. There is a bit of buffeting around the top of my chest (I'm just uner 6 foot) but the air around my head is clear.

At the end of the day the clear stream of air and the buffeting points are going to be determined by the bike and how it's mounted.

WHERE we feel them will be determined by our monkey or alligator arms, the bars, the seat, etc.

So it may be perfect for one, and not so much for the next guy.

I should say that I'm bothered by the CHEAP headlight bucket and I'm tempted to replace it regardless of whether or not I swap out my Marlin for an Emgo Viper. And looking into the Viper at Revzilla showed me that they ALSO make a complete headlight assembly that I think might fit (I'll have to measure):

So both are really tempting me right now.

Hmmmm

Hymes, thanks for posting.  One question - i assume you are using the stock front turn signals, and haven't removed the spacers?  By how much do the turn signals clear the fairing?  Thanks!

EMGO isn't the only player here, just as an option, this is cheaper less expensive (Guzzi Content)

http://www.lockhartphillipsusa.com/UNIVERSAL-CAFE-FAIRING.html

Well made, same specs from what I can tell. I own one.

Took it off as I ultimately didn't find it terribly effective nor did I think it fit the look of the bike. This was on a Jackal however, so VERY different than the applications ya'll are considering.

I've seen them color keyed on Tonti California's and they look great.

It looks cool, but how does the battery hold up? I had a friend recommend best battery for harley davidson so I rode on it for 2 months and took it off, it drained out very quickly.
