Picked up my bike today and got in about a 70 mile ride. Initial impressions are its very well made, great attention to detail and a smooth ride.Rides like my past Guzzis all with the "guzzi grunt" Front brakes feel vert strong and keeping it under 4500 rpms as the warning lights come on, Took off the very well made sidecases to keep it naked and light. Below are a few pics and the double headlights with the eagle across it is pretty cool.

That's a beautiful bike, congratulations.

it's a great all-arounder. always fun in any role you give it, within reason. reason as defined by your skill level vs. the level of challenge.

Congrats on the Travel Dave - wishing you many happy miles! I've yet to see on in person but I read that pictures don't do it justice.
How does the touring windscreen work for you?
-
Thanks for the well wishes, I do agree, its one of those bikes that pics dont do justice to, better looking in person. The touring screen is okay but at 6'3 and depending on my riding position I get some buffeting at my arms but not too bad. Givi always makes higher windscreens usually no more than 150.
I did buy the high comfort seat at time of purchase should I need to modify the stock seat due to back issues in the future.

I'm using an MRA Vario clip on with my stock windscreen while waiting for my tour screen to arrive. May be a cheaper, more adjustable way to get that perfect air flow. There are generics on eBay for < $30 you could try before investing in the real thing.

The touring screen is adjustable and came thru in the downmost position angled towards the rider, I pushed it back to the upmost position away from me and will see how it goes when riding

If MadStad offers a screen for anything you pwn get it. Brilliant stuff that works brilliantly.
-
Congratulations. I love that bike and the color. Way to go. Great choice. Ride safe

Congratulations. Would be interesting to read your comparison with what you had before based on the signature GS and Tiger.

I want one! Congrats and good luck with it.
