Stelvio through central Europe
« on: September 02, 2017, 07:55:12 AM »
Last week I took a 6 day trip down through eastern Germany, Czech, southern Poland, Slovakia, Austria and back home. 3500km in total, most of it rural twisty roads. I really enjoyed it and the weather was great.
I'm not really a ride report writer but I thought I'd share the photos with you guys. You can click on the link to see the album and get an impression of where I got to.
As expected, the Stelvio ran flawlessly [emoji4].
I love this bike!!

You're welcome! But I think there's always a little bit of "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" thing to consider. When I see the pictures of some of the places you have in the US and Canada I also feel envious. Love to have the Stelvio over there for a while!

Nope. I only saw 3 other Guzzis on the whole trip and they were all going the other way. One was a Stelvio though [emoji106]

My trip was just like a ride around the block compared to yours! [emoji51]

Great pics, beautiful bike. Thanks for posting!
Then again, when I was watching Predator I didn't think two members of its cast would become governors, either. So you never know.

Great pics. I just got back from that area and rode a BMW R1200GSA.  I followed a red Stelvio up the Stelvio pass. Bags were different than yours. I saw several Guzzis everyday.
