Author Topic: Question about upgrading LM1 fork tubes with thicker LM2 tubes  (Read 1056 times)

I'm going to upgrade the suspension on my '77 LeMans and I'm thinking this is a good time to upgrade to the thicker walled fork tubes from the Mk2.

I'm assuming I need to choose the right springs and dampers for the Mk2 as well as the Mk2 top nuts. If anybody on the forum has done this, can you help me with any other parts that need to be changed over? Different seals for sliders? Any effect on the triple clamps?

Thanks!
