Sorry Nic, I don't doubt there's a subtle message in there but I just don't get it. Is the suggestion that I meant to say Austria ? Now of course a "Super Bowl" of steel cut oats, might fire the imagination... (if I knew what they were !)

Just a bad joke, hence the wink.  On the confusion some have between Austria and Australia. One thing is for sure, if you have to explain a joke, it's not funny!  My cousin in Melbourne wants us over there to visit soon - never been.

The "Austria/Australia" kangaroos-in-Salzburg thing doesn't get old because SO many people actually don't know the difference so they make it fresh every week!   

Swedish/Swiss is another one I hear all the time, along with Iowa/Ohio.   We took my friends' inlaws to a Lebanese restaurant the other day, and it turned out that their nervous glances were a result of looking for crew-cut women in overalls ....
