Uh, so you don't like draft beer? You do remember that kegs are metal right?!?On the rest I agree... Vehemently!
Are they #4? A cursory part number search yielded the name "buffer damper" with no mention as to what they (or the gasket) is made of. If I don't ask, I can't learn. :1: Thank you, Pete, for humoring me.
You're an idiot! draught beer is a completely different animal!
As someone who has brewed hundreds of gallons of beer ... And consumed exponentially more, I must say your frame of reference on beer is older than the chassis of a smallblock!!! [emoji48][emoji48][emoji48]
I can't quite make out the number but the forth part down the list looks like it sez 'Damper Drift' which is what the tampons used on the 8V's are sometimes called so yes, I reckon they're the same parts.I'll have a search around, AF1 probably have the parts diagrams on line and see if they are the same part # as the later 8V's? My guess is they will be. It would be daft not to use the same parts.Asking questions and researching is how we learn. Never be afraid to ask questions. No point in having large supra-orbital lobes and opposable thumbs if they are never used!Pete
Well, in an attempt to improve my 'Frame of refference' I will abandon the delicious, air conditioned comfort of my living room and wander down through the 41*C heat to the Royal where the adorable Stacey will, I'm sure, we only too willing to help me establish a better 'Frame of Reference' by emptying some of a keg into me!
I should go to bed, I'm scheduled for about 3+ hours of training tomorrow morning!
1A006716 is the same part# as the later 8V tampons so I'm guessing that the rocker cover gasket is nitrile as well on the V9/V7-III.If you want to have a peek under the rocker covers it's worth having a pair of rocker cover gaskets and however many tampons are needed, (Six?) on hand. They are almost certainly re-usable but of course if you don't have spares on hand they are bound to leak!Pete
Hahaha...Perfect! I don't know what company was first to sell a finished vehicle in what is basically primer, but I'm guessing they had a good laugh. Sorry, but I can make any bike look like that with two rattle cans and a couple of beers. It doesn't look "custom" , it looks cheap. " Hey... I just refinished the BBQ, and have some extra rustoleum... Roll the bike over here! " Don't be offended if your motorcycle gets pelted with hot dogs.
Please GG, don't go red on Anni's sidecovers, IMO it screams "look at me" when all the attention in the room is on you anyway. It looks elegantly understated in a timeless way now.Next time you're going out to dinner looking just lovely, try applying some dayglo lipstick to"enhance the look" and see what you reckon.
No worries Huzo, she gets enough attention without looking like a baboon in heat.
I like the overall lines. Fender too small. Red rocker covers OTT. May look better with a red frame? NO REV COUNTER!!!!I ride the Breva by the revo; I like to know what it is doing sometimes, especially when passing a Triffid. The bike whips up too easily in to the red zone and I do like to know when this is about to happen.Draught beer please. From glass. If it has to come out of a can, then put it in a glass.
baboon in heat.
it looks like I may have to fly over with the 'C' kit. Grrrrrr!Pete
I've seen Pete in action. Do *not* try to keep up.. you'll wake up in the morning thinking you might have the flu while he's bouncing around.. "ready to ride?"
If the trip is on, where are you flying in to?
No word on price though?http://www.motoguzzi.com/en_EN/news/Moto-Guzzi-V7-III-Carbon-start-of-production/
