EuroCycle - Las Vegas
« on: February 11, 2019, 07:58:56 AM »
While we were at MECUM in January, we stopped by this dealership.

I don't know anything about them, but, by far,  it was the largest and most well stocked European motorcycle shop I have ever stepped foot in!!   :thumb:

Moto Guzzi - Triumph - BMW - MV August - Vespa, and MORE!! Well worth a visit if you are in Vegas! :thumb:   - - and they don't appear to be going out of business anytime soon!!

Now that Elk Grove Powersports is getting out of Guzzi's I figure EuroCycle is where I'll look at a V85 TT when time comes.

Just bought my new Stelvio from them . I’m currently 2500 miles away . Straightforward to deal with. No surprises. Willing to store the bike until April for pickup. I predict that the large megastores will end up carrying and supporting the smaller manufacturers. One by one, the small dealerships will fade away. A matter of economics and long time owners retiring and unable to find new blood to take over.

I have been to Vegas numerous time (3~4 times a year sometime) but never had a chance to go there...been kicking myself in the ass for that.

But have heard no bad things about them so far...

They also rent bikes which they have Stelvio & California listed in there!...which might do that instead renting a car next time...

I just saw there's a Euro Cycle in Sonoma and they Rent!

The boy and I can rent a Brace of Guzzi's after only a 2 hour super-slab run.

Largest Guzzi dealer by units sold in the US of A in 2018

#2 - Cadre in Cincy - 7000 sq ft of strictly Guzzi.

So there it is. The model/riddle for Guzzi's retail success in America lies in understanding these two businesses.

They seemed alright to me.

I got my new left over inventory '13 Griso from them a couple years ago. Delivered to my door in Indianapolis.

The Dealer Fees and Shipping seemed high but they were very flexible on the price of the bike to round out the deal.
I would not feel bad about another bike from them.

If I'm in the neighborhood I would stop by for sure.

In 2013 I did a fly/ride deal with them for a Vespa 300. Price was fair, service was excellent, and they made me feel special, very special. Both owners met me at the airport, dropped me at a hotel for the nigh as we had agreed to, then told me the hotel tab/ lodging food/drinks were on them. WOW!!! In my book they're the best.

After riding the Ca. coast I rode the scooter home to Florida. 28 days on the road, no plans, no routes, just my GPS for locating lodging/  food/ fuel, interstate only in and out of S. Ca. Been across country many times on a bike, this trip was by far the most memorable thanks in part to the nice folks at Euro Cycle(Freedom Cycles at the time) in Vegas.  :thumb: :thumb:

My home-boys, "Triumph-Dwight" and "BMW-Mike" checking out the various bikes while at EuroCycle in Vegas.

Again, they had a great selection of inventory for Guzzi, Triumph, Vespa, and MV Agusta!  Well worth a visit and the staff was friendly toward us also! :thumb:

I have two good friends who within the last year bought from them and were very satisfied with the service and price they paid. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new 17 griso and while euro cycle had a better sale price the fees made it a few hundred more than GP in San Diego. No fees other than tax and license.

In the years between, the dealership has changed hands. The Yuell (sp?) brothers are no longer involved in the company; the new owners were the ones who moved the operations and consolidated the LV dealerships of BMW, Triumph, Guzzi etc.

I always thought well of the brothers and was disappointed when they chose to sell.
