I owned three F800’s (2 F800ST’s and an F800GT). Basically the same bike as yours, except for belt drive. Very fun, reliable, and agile bikes, with excellent handling and probably the best gearbox of any bike I’ve owned. They never let me down. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get less than 70 mpg out of any of them. Some early F800’s experienced piston slap, rear wheel bearing failures, stator failures, and weepy valve cover gaskets but all of this was remedied by 2013. On yours, make sure the L&R handlebar clusters have been replaced (global recall).

I rode a friend's F650 (actually 800cc) which IIRC is the same as your bike but a year or two earlier and only a single disc up front.  Great bike!  You will love it!

Had one for a year between Guzzis. Nice bike if a little bland. The side stand switch is exposed to rocks - took mine out doing some gravel road riding. I also found the suspension too soft for my (then) 220lbs.
