As the subject notes, this is our annual guzzi run through the Oz Snowy mountains and this time also down to Tasmania..

Nice tour - thanks for the pictures. Shoreline pictures are great.
I was under that impression that Tasmania was forested but this looks like scrub similar to dry country or alpine stunted growth. Has this area been logged or suffered forest fire or am I mis-judging the scale?

That pic is of the Vale of Belvoir conservation area up in the high country, Tassie is well forested, and forestry is a big industry.. see some of the other shots on day 5
You can see the road winding through for scale..
