I have a set of black short adjustable clutch/brake levers for apparently all current V7-III. I will bring them with the first $25 takes them home. I tried them for about 300 miles and don't like them short.

I plan on being there riding my 1000S! I will rally the Asheville local Guzzi folks and bring 2-10 more riders with me. The campground is great as well as the Guzzi riders that show up every year. And yes it will probably rain at some point as it is summer in the mountains!

Hey Steve, if I can make it up for a day what’s the chance I could get you to do a throttle body check snd adjustment if necessary, on my 2002 Stone?
I’ll compensate you, of course👍

Bumping to let everyone know that Barbara has come up for a food plan for the weekend (the Campground kitchen is closed).  I would email her or check as going on the Facebook Page "Guzzis in the Blue Ridge Campout" so that she can get a good headcount.

So now it's out!  Yes, we will have the return of Muley from out of the wilderness and back for the Blue Ridge Campout.  With Russ and all three Sokohl brothers attending it should be quite an interesting weekend.

Rode there this weekend. Very crowded around the river.  People blocking traffic trying to vie for a spot to park. .

Parkway was pleasant and some great views.

I'll be in WV next weekend.

Dang it! Another schedule conflict, and this is one of my favorites to boot.  Someone ask Muley for me, when's the last time he changed his brake fluid?

He did flush the left side fluid finally, to get the side working right. Who knows on the right side.

For you guys with more experience in that area, how is the weather looking for the weekend? All the forecasts that I see are calling for doom and gloom, but I don't want to believe it. Your thoughts?

WD, Friday looks good. Saturday my source (national weather service) indicates around 50% chance for scattered thunderstorms activity but that’s about any day in the Smokey’s.

Ok, thanks! Leaving in a few hours and meandering north-ish. Be there this afternoon.

The weather report shows 40-60% chance of rain everyday from June-Sept here... doesnt mean it will rain, or that it will rain wherever you are..  But yeah there is always a chance, that's just our weather pattern. I rode for a couple hours yesterday under dark wet heavy skies, never felt a drop.

If you can ride the Blue ridge Pky at anytime of the year for two days without rain for at least a few minutes you should buy a lottery ticket!

My father in law enjoys explaining that a (for example) 60% chance of precipitation in a given coverage area doesn't mean that every portion of that coverage area has an equal 60% chance of getting precipitation.  It means that 60% of the coverage  area is likely to experience precipitation.

I won't be there this weekend.  Maybe next time, but not this one.

This Loop & Tonti mashup 'Dessert Sled' mongrel got a lot of attention- very cool

I'm also in love with Earl T's R.Crumb Tribute 850 Ambo

People were real nice about my Ambo, looks and runs great, not quite as unique as some others.

I have never seen a 1000s and failed to take a pic... there were 2 there, loving this one with the Bub Conti pipes

I don't know why, but to me the Milano is the prettiest V7 variant to date...  oddly most I see have been modded, farkled, chopped up, or painted beyond recognition. Nice to see a pretty much stock one

Good crew, there was plenty more to see, but I just made an afternoon jaunt over there. Didnt stay for dinner- rain is a constant companion in these mountains, and what looked like was going to be a brief cloudburst turned into a downpour, I was drenched to the bone when I got home

Total destruction.  They are getting a lot of help in bringing it back however.
