Picked up my new baby from Euro Cycle Reno this afternoon and all I can say is WOW!!! It was a short ride dodging snow melt but it was enough to tell me it was a great decision. The word that keeps coming to mind is refined, compared to a 2V Guzzi and the especially refined compared to the dry clutch Ducati I traded. Comfortable and composed, and yet ready for canyon carving too. Guzzi really nailed it with this one.

They showed the Reno snow this morning's news.
THAT sounds like a perilous ride !
Congratulations on your new bike !

Congrats on the new bike!

Congrats Buckturgidson!!🤙 You get the red or silver? They're delivering my silver tomorrow or thursday. Commitments, an older dog & prepping for vacation saturday hasn't given me the opportunity to ride fm Fernley & swap rides. Frustrating.😉
Maybe we'll meet up @ some point.

GRiSO isn't for everyone. You'll either like it or you won't.
For a dedicated community, (That welcomes others.) have a look at Griso Ghetto. Lots of GRiSO/CARC related stuff to make your ride more enjoyable.

True Pete. Stumbled onto GrisoGhetto. A lot of good info there.

Welcome to the family!
From your signature I know something of your situation as I've ridden my brother's 2SR back to back with my Griso:

The engine does feel more "willing" than the 2V for sure.
I still think my motor feels more "velvety" than Wyno's beast, but if mine had similar output, maybe it wouldn't.
If I'd never owned mine, I'd crawl through a mile of shit and broken glass to get one, but I cannot seem to wear mine out..
I would probably do the 8V Norge thing, but only because of what I do..
Is that yours in the photo ?

Yes, Looks like a Termignoni on the S2R, going to miss that glorious sound. Lucky you got to ride both.
Which luggage rack is on the Griso? Thanks.

That's the factory rack and tail bag. The rack is listed at AF1 but I don't see the bag. Very useful.

I also have the HB C Bow setup on it and use them when I'm traveling.
If you are interested in a screen I have a couple for sale. Both are unmounted that I bought from a guy who sold his Griso: Dart Flyscreen in light tent is $139 new. ISOTTA SC60 screen in clear is $224 new (it's about the same size as the National that you see in the picture but has hard mounts). I'll take 1/2 that for either plus shipping (I'm in South Carolina).

Daleroso, I sent (or at least thought I did) a PM to you with my email. Hope you have your bike by now, we should meet up for coffee sometime. I ride with the Nor-Cal Guzzista occasionally, real good group. There are a few of us around with Guzzis, a good guy with a Norge in Dayton NV and Tommy with a bad-ass Griso up on The Comstock.

Not sure if I could live with a Griso but should wouldn't mind renting one and finding out. Sound like a fun ride.

Oh it is, just ask Huzo about his ride on mine.

It's that motor that leaves the impression.
Yeah, Wyno's Griso and Paul Brooking's Stelvio are the only 8V's I've been on, but the Griso feels like a rocket and Paul's would be the same if I'd given it a touch up.
It's Beetle's map that has transformed mine, to the point where I'm absolutely enamoured with it. I'd wager though, that if you'd owned an 8V you'd most likely not go backwards to the 4V again.
I wonder if he'd notice if I swapped motors ?
