From the best information I have about this bike, it was never entered into department service, therefore it will stay nondescript.

I am not much for showing my bikes, unless it is convenient. It will be ridden and enjoyed, on nice days of course.

Northern Illinois is up in the mid 40s F today and couldn't resist giving it a first ride. I gassed it up and checked thoroughly for leaks - all good. It started right away. I went on a short ride to warm it up a bit then adjusted the timing with a strobe, balanced the carbs with my Harmonizer, and went out for a bit longer ride. This bike is amazing. It is super smooth and quiet for a Loop and I think this 5 speed shifts the best of any that I own. I am chuffed.

As always, a great job !! Do you know where or if it was put into police service? Some or the departments will (I know Arizona has done it in the past) provide you with the decal they used with it saying retired. It adds a nice touch

I'm fairly certain this bike was never in department service.

The weather is cooperating and break-in miles are happening.
