As I mentioned in your other post, I had trouble with the top of my right shock. The bolt came right out, but I had to use a gear puller to get the shock off the post. There was some substance that I can only assume was a Loctite material on there. I sanded it off before I put the new shock on.

Got it off with heat and a puller. It was coated in a rough black material, probably paint.This is a pivot point - why wasn't it polished and lubricated? Not only did Guzzi install rather poor shocks, they also made them almost impossible to remove.
