Moto Guzzi MAGNUM, Blue Moon Cycle
« on: November 16, 2019, 05:53:13 PM »
Never ever seen this before in 20 years of guzzidum....i cant copy pictures or send a link. Its listed in Cycle Trader.

Its a fat tire small minibike. Guzzi badges, single cylinder. Probably the most obscure guzzi possible. I’ll see if i can link it directly from Blue Moon

That was a real trip down memory lane, some of my old bikes on there (well, examples of the same model anyway, mine were thrashed to death by the time I sold them on).   He DID keep calling the '71 Yamaha R5 an "RD-350", which wasn't made until 2 years later, but maybe he's just not a Yamaha guy.    That bronze and black beauty was my first big street bike; I'd love to have another.

I've been dropping in at Blue Moon for decades. I remember the old location.
Last time there he had acquired someone's collection of Ducks...

The place totally puts most museums to shame.
A "must visit" if in the area!

I've got near pristine RD400 tank and side covers, in Orange. NOS decals.
Of course, not the paint combo with a special look. Could that color be the reason for those smokey orange Stelvios' ?  R3~

I had a new '76 RD400C (wedding gift from Fay, part of the reason I'm hanging in there forever).   I always thought of it as "red and white".   I'm terrible at colors, is that really Orange?
