Crazy damn weather
« on: April 20, 2021, 06:49:21 AM »
It is 4/20 in central KS and we have two inches plus of snow and still coming down fairly heavy. Suppose to be celebrating weed, not snow. Yesterday had a long lunch outside and even got a slight sunburn, now this.

Dreadful, long winter...but it should be over soon....even in central Kansas.  This was about a week ago here in the Verde Valley, AZ :thumb:

Thatís snow might be because of global warming.

In Western Washington state we have had some really nice days. One day it got into the high 70's
Totally unusual. Normally it is rain and cool in the 50's.

We have an inch of snow covering our trees and flowering plants.. I *did* cover the peonies that were growing at the home place when we moved in.. '49. (!) No telling how old they are. I gave The Kid a pot full of them this year to take up to Wisconsin.

Going to water all the decorative plants tonight and tomorrow morning that Bev planted.  Thank goodness I didn't plant all those tomatoes (and peppers) that I asked all those questions about.

Thread title: YEP.

Snow over night. First thing I see this morning is a salt truck. Once the roads dry, we'll have clouds of white dust being kicked up by vehicles and piles of salt at intersections where a truck waited for a light.

Until we get some rain here, the bikes will be in the garage.

Out our living room window this morning. The dragonfly is having a little trouble flapping hard enough for takeoff..
