General Discussion / Re: Creamy oil in airbox

68 years ago I got my first car, a '56 VW. That winter I made a sump heater, a cardboard box that closely fit under the oil pan with ceramic bulb holder in it. The inside was lined with fiberglass board insulation. I used a 100 watt bulb. Since then I've used these on all my air cooled engines in cold weather.                     Faffi, you left out a most important ingredient in your elixirs, Tabasco.

Once you really start looking carefully, it turns into an embarrassment of riches very quickly...

Essentially a low-milage naked Norge for $3200!

And why in holy heck is THIS gorgeous thing so cheap?! A '70 Ambo for $4500?!

I just raise the dash, remove the 36 mm hex plug and fill. Filling with a syringe from either end sounds like way more trouble. BTW, I use 8 oz./240 cc vs. the factory recommended 5.4 oz./160 cc.

The front brake cable/hose holder on V7 Sports was welded to the fender braces, not a separate item.

I bet he takes $4000 cash. You might get a few dollars for the fairing if you don't want it. !6000 is almost broken in.

Thanks!
This one in Austin looks like a real deal at $4500.

Engine guards, aux. lighting, and the semi-weird old Rifle fairing, which I think kind of works on this bike...
Just needs bags, IMO.

That’s about the cheapest V7 III that you’ll find. Not many drop below $5000.
