A rally on Father's Day?
« on: December 11, 2015, 07:21:41 PM »
I moved the MN rally forward a week, June 17-19th, to not fall on the same weekend as the National.  Now I notice Father's Day is the 19th!   I cannot go earlier because the snow is still melting..just kidding.  The week after the Nationals is the 4th of July that fills the camp ground for the balance of the summer.
I'm locked in but is Father's Day weekend a potential deal killer for many of you?

John,

I'm planning on The National and it's 2200 miles (shortest way) for me to John Day, four pretty good days to get there.  So, I'll probably be on the road Father's Day, so when you plan the MN Rally is not an issue for me.  I'm also planning on hanging around out there in the NW to attend the WA and ID rallies, on the road for five weeks at a minimum.  Depending on the location of the MN Rally, I might be able to hit it on the way West, but only for a day or so.

Grand Marais was great last year.  I loved the fish dinners that were available.  Now heading for MapQuest to check out route planning options.
