That's a lot of bike for the money. I have friends who spend more on a bicycle.

That dealer will add on some fees to make up for the low price. It is their standard MO.

It is listed as a 2009 and then also in another spot in the ad as a 8v 2013?

My bet is the dealer grabbed the handiest description for a Norge that popped up on Google, copied and pasted it.

Why is it these CARC bikes are trading hands at such low values? In my mind this is undervalued by about $2000.
In the last few weeks a couple of 2-valve Breva's went for about the same or even less money. What the heck. I have over twice the miles on my Breva and it is worth more to me than what the going rate appears to be right now.

That's how I've taken delivery on both big block Guzzis I purchased.
2008 1200 Sport - Swanzey NH to Hudson OH, roughly 600 700 miles
2012 Griso - Dahlonega GA to Hudson OH, roughly 1200 miles (bad weather, a derecho, added 400 or so miles to the return ride.)

Nothing better than doing a fly and ride or having a good buddy drive you to the dealer, then aim for home.

Bob
Main ride:  2008 Guzzi 1200 Sport (sold July 2020)
2012 Griso 8v SE (sold Sept '15)
Reliable standby: 1991 BMW R100GS
2014 Honda CB1100 (Traded Nov 2019)
New:  2016 Triumph T120 (Traded Dec 2021)
New:  2021 Kawasaki W800

It’s because people stand around ruefully rubbing the back of their collective necks and nit picking the perceived “value”.
I just dumped a Mk 2 because it does not serve my life as of now, so it’s value is low.
If everybody just stands there and does nothing, then the thing will be deemed undesirable.
It’s got me rooted that guys will throw money at rollerising an 8V that is only superior if you ride at licence loss speeds, yet similar money will see you ride this home and it’s as reliable as the rock of Gibraltar.
You watch..
Some bastard will buy it, farkle the guts out of it, low pegs, barn door screen, GPS, Corbin seat...etc
Then sell the thing in 12 months with 2,500 miles added because it’s too hard to “push around the shed...”
Here’s a solution, don’t push it around the shed, start the bastard and ride it on the road...

Agree, my 2007 Norge is the best all-around bike I have ever owned, and that includes a 2017 Griso and a 1200RT. Resale prices for these fine bikes are ridiculous.

It didn't last 24 hours at that price.  The listing says sold.

I can't imagine selling my Norge...it's part of me, too many trips and memories to want to sell it to anyone.

If it somehow fails (so unlikely), then I'd unload it for parts if needed.

Until then, it's worth $10K to me, regardless of whether the market "values" it at $3k to $4K...shoot the stickers on the panniers are worth at least $1K by themselves!

That long rectangular one is my favourite.
