Can someone explain why a single muffler for two into one exhaust bikes (V85) still costs the same as two mufflers for a dual exhaust bike (V9)? I mean a two into one muffler can’t have twice the “guts” as a single does. Either way your paying $500-$700 for a single muffler or duels. Never understood why.

That wasn't the case when I was shopping for mufflers for my '23 V7 and '24 V100.  A pair of full-length Agostini reverse cone mufflers for the V7 was around $800, and the single Mistral slip-on muffler in polished stainless for the V100 was $515.

Ok silly me…. I was referring to sameish mufflers from same vendor are only $135 apart.
