Wow! I'm surprised at all the folks here who know of Buddy and/or play steel guitar.Sad to lose another one of the greats. His playing covered almost all forms of music. Hearing him play showed me that the steel could be used for something other than Tiny Bubbles or country.I've never been that great a player, and probably never will be, but he showed me some of the music that is still hidden in my instrument, and not to be afraid to play what ever kind of music I liked on it.Last time I saw Buddy it was him and Albert Lee backing the Everly Brothers.
