Suggestions re. Indicators relay not working
« on: July 20, 2017, 09:46:47 PM »
So all of sudden the turn indicators stop working. No problem must be the flasher relay. Bought a new one put it in, nothing. Checked the connections with a meter and I am getting 12V when I turn the indicators on both left and right. So far tried 3 different flasher relays and still nothing. On one relay, it flashed ounces then nothing. What am I missing? Any suggestions? (The bike is a 750S3).
Many thanks

fuse? corroded connectors? Deoxit is your friend.

Chances are your not getting a ground for your bulb. A lot of the older Guzzis ground through the stalk. A home fabricated ground wire under the stalk nut sometimes does the trick.

Did you change a bulb to LED?  Not enough current draw.

Fuses are ok, it's unlikely that corrosion is a factor, it has recently been completely rewired with the excellent G.Bender loom.

All sorted !! thanks for the suggestion, it turned out to be a wonky connection. Sometime the obvious is easily missed .
