SATO rear sets on long trips
« on: June 20, 2021, 08:11:07 PM »
Hey guys, wondering if anyone has experience doing road trip with the sato rear sets on the v7? how is comfort etc compared to the stock pegs. Really want them, in particular because of how much closer they bring your legs to the bike but curious how they feel for all day riding.

This would be on a v7 iii

Would these be similar to the controls on the V7 racer? if so, I'm 6'2 with a 34 inch inseam and just did a 3 hour ride without any issues. I've also had 3 lower back surgeries and still felt fine. This was on a 2014 v7 racer

Also if you are interested in a used set of the Agostini rear sets for the V7, I've got a set of used ones that I bought off Craigslist last week for $100 CAD ($80 USD). I didn't need them as my racer has the billet aluminium ones but the price seemed too good to turn down.  If you are interested in those for that price plus the cost of shipping they are all yours. They are black and are these ones :

I don't think those will fit the iii. Would definitely take them if they did, bummer. Thanks though
