Guzzi on Maine CL...
« on: May 12, 2015, 08:59:01 AM »

The ad lists this as an EV however, in my assessment this is a Bassa, even tough there are floorboards which are easily added.
Anyway, doesn't look too bad.

My Bassa has tubeless wheels. What are the differences between the Bassa and the EV? Floorboards? Seems like there would be more..... ???

Nope, Bassa had tubeless wires, I had one... in fact I had a solo EV and still have a '99 EV with teh Hack attached.

The EV looked like this, the older style rear fender, tail light and to change side covers, there is a bunch of chrome covers to swap.

It is a Bassa...

A Bassa with Harper's floor boards, you can tell by the way they are mounted.

"1999 Moto Guzzi EV 1100. Rare bike."

I don't think so, every man and his dog seems to have an EV in the stable.

Wouldn't it have a chrome bag support if it was an EV?

Whatever it is, the asking price is fair IMHO
