QUOTE: Issue just started with a slipping clutch due to transmission fluid leaking past clutch rod seals, thus contaminating the clutch discs. Just curious...What would be the $COST$ to fix / repair this issue?
CAUTIOUS, definitely a scam alert on this one!Anyone tried to make contact with the seller yet?
I know most of you guys are going to dismiss what I am going to say, but notice that synthetic oil is used and the clutch started slipping and there is a leak. The same thing was going on with my Jackal when I bought it. Just under 10,000 miles and the exact same situation. I flushed all that synthetic oil out, used a good quality 20/50 with lots of zdpp, cleaned the clutch with the mineral stuff and voila no slipping and no leaking. Speculation: the older gaskets and seals can’t handle the synthetic. Try it before going thru all the work of crabbing and replacing.
I don't think a leaking main seal would contaminate the clutch.
