So how far of a ride is it to Pete's place? In MILES please, I didn't go to math school...
What a fun and beautiful trip...I do miss Australia and this really makes me want to return...When all this virus mess is over, I will be taking a trip to Australia!Huzo what a great write up; wish I could write like that...T
Thank you for posting and for reminding us of those days that keep us riding!
If you come to Victoria, I’ll collect you at Melbourne International (Tullamarine), and bring you one hour North to stay at my place in the hills for some R & R.Then you can take my V85 or Mk 2 away and explore Australia...(I’d take the V85 option).
WOW, Thank you! What a great offer! Now I am missing Australia even more! Thanks again and stay safe!Tony
There are some things that contain a magic for me, that defy even my twisted sense of logic..When your bike is sitting outside a motel room and you’re weaving your way back across the road on foot, from the restaurant on the opposite side, why would you just sit and stare at it...?In the morning as the first rush of air starts to build when you roll up through the gears, I love to see the condensation dissipating on the screen with the morning breeze and last nights memories shrinking away behind. It’s a dynamic thing..Yesterday is in the mirrors, now is on the seat and tomorrow is over the fairing screen.A metaphor if you will, of your journey through life..
When your wife is happy, everyone is happy!

Great post! I enjoyed it. You have a way with words
Eganesque. Thank you for your great imagery.
Nice thanks Huzo.Hope the Honourable Mr Roper is in fine fettle.
Huzo, nice to read your ramblings in times of lockdown. Makes me want to ride down to Hunterville and see my older brother again. Its just short of 200 k's from Taupo, over the desert road to Waiouru then on to Taihape, Mangaweka (my old home town) then a skip and a jump to Hunterville to see my old bro.Cheers Kev
Who’s he ?
