ARROW ROCK MISSOURI GET-TOGETHER
Celebrating longtime MGNOC member Barry McDaniel’s Life
Party. Happy hour from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Then BBQ from
5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Place: The Schoolhouse Building, 716 Main
Street, Arrow Rock, Missouri. All food and beverage provided.
There will be a slide show and tons of pictures to look at. Lots of
stories will be told. Tent camping and RV camping available. Bed &
Breakfast available in Arrow Rock. Google the Internet for
accommodations in Arrow Rock, Missouri. If you want RV space
at the local State Park, call 877-422-6766. Marshall, Missouri also
has accommodations 15 miles from Arrow Rock. If possible,
please call me (Susan McDaniel) at 660-631-6024 to let me know
you plan to attend to help us know how much food to allow.
ALSO if you can’t attend this get-together, Barry wanted his
ashes spread at a rally for “Freedom of Road Riders,” which we
have worked to put on for over 20 years: Firecracker Classic,
June 22, 23 at Stump Island Park, Glasgow, Missouri. This rally is
$10 for the weekend. This year our rally shirts will honor Barry
with a picture of his motorcycle. His memorial will take place on
Saturday at the rally.

It was nice weather and a great turnout for the Memorial service.


Left there this morning and had light rain all the way back home.
Still, a good ride.

Nice turnout and a good chance to visit with some familiar people. I would not describe what twowings and I rode home in as light rain. My gear is hanging and drying in front of the new pellet stove and twowings is headed to Tulsa after grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup at my house. Another wonderful weekend ride drip drip.

Good to see so many old friends at the Memorial. We got home at 6 PM. Light rain for 1/2 the way home, but the wipers worked good on the toyota.

It was great to see Turnip getting out and about with lovely Georgeann...he's had a long, hard road back from much adversity!
