1984 Moto Guzzi V65

One doesn't use the Breva/Nevada valves, just the springs and "cups".
I used these valve springs (there are no inner springs, just outers):

The coils I used on my V50 III were from a Ducati Monster 600. Bolted up with no modifications. My present V65SP has Dyna 3 ohm coils on it which required an adapting bracket to mount.

I will order the Nevada 750 valve springs & the valves from MGcycle 👍👍
I have a set of Dyna coils that are 5 ohms & measure 2,500 Ohms from post to spark plug wire, I just didn't want to make a modification to the mount if I didn't have to 😉😉

just order the V65 exhaust valves , ive never seen a intake valve fail.
the old cups can be reused after a bit of modification with a file
you have to measure te coil between the two connections on the coil, not to the spark plug wire.
anything above 3,5 ohm would work.
i use stupidly cheap aliexpress xv250 coils ,
they have been working for years, i scrap the stock coils on any guzzi smallblock i work on.

Ok been ill but back at it :thumb:
I bought the Breva.Springs, but when.I went to put them on the valve guide washer (don't know real name) at the bottom boss was to big for for.the spring to fit.over it.
I have anothe.bottom washer I.ordered that the spring fits over, but there is a keeper on the guide itself, that I couldn't just pull off.
Need instructions :shocked:
