v7ii ABS
voltage regulator swap.
do I need to pull the tank or the connector as in visible sight, not hidden under the tank like other connectors?
thanks

On my '13 V7 Stone, I just lifted the tank up and moved it rearward enough to access the connector.

Got it. So you need to remove the tank bolt in the seating area right? Anything else I should know? Thanks

It's been two years and the bike is long gone, but I do remember just removing the bolt at the back of the tank. Then I just slid it back and propped it up with some wooden blocks while I replaced the regulator.

Its probably much easier to remove the tank, you need all the help you can get to access the connectors.
Undo the bolt at the rear, pull it back then undo the pump cable and try to start it.
Starting releases all the pressure from the fuel line which makes it easier to release the quick connect.
You will also have to release the vent line, it's just pushed on.
On my V7III I also unbolted the front coil.
