I'd never be able to drive one of those; if the father of the girl I was picking up for a date saw me in a Nash or Rambler, he'd lock her in her bedroom and THEN where would my love life be?   As bad as driving up to her house in a converted Chevy van with "shag" carpet and a bed ....

That's actually a pretty funny video, with a lot of period stuff in it.

Is the driver of the car actually throwing a piece of trash out the window as he drives down the road at 5:06?

Of course it's easy to lie down and relax in the passenger seat on a ride; there's no seatbelts ....

HUGE mistake by Honda to stop making these. I used to use one of these for rescue/dog transports.
Four wheel drive, seats fold up, plenty of room. WTH was Honda thinking.
Hard to find now, and those found have 300,000 miles on them...but still run great!

One of my childhood friends dad (Roy not Charlie ) had one of these, we had many great outdoor adventures to the lake cabin I helped them build in northern Minn, we would lay the seat down and sleep most of the way there, frequently  the three of us would sleep in the car until we put windows with screens in the cabin. I believe this was the first car I rode in that had AC, it also had a cool radio. That was in 1960,and I recall the car being in mint condition and very solid. Thanks for the memory.

I used to drive dad's 56 Nash Ambassador when Was I in high school.
It had a huge straight six with two carbs and weighed about a ton more than the average car back then.
