I recall the intake howl these produced.... A neighbor to my county cousin destroyed one and put the engine into a go cart with predictable and disaterous results!

I had a 250 Catalina. The intake howl would startle horses. My dad wouldn't let me ride it through the neighborhood after a certain hour. I loved it but it was probably pretty obnoxious to innocent bystanders. Several years later I put together a basket case 305. I never got it running real well, sold it to a co-worker.
