How many original 750Ss are in the US?
« on: February 08, 2015, 12:32:28 PM »
I've been wondering lately, how many 750Ss are in the US currently. It's so rare to hear about one. Falloon says they only made 950 but doesn't say how many were imported to the US. I saw one for sale last year but that's the only ones i've seen in any classifieds in the US.

For any owners on WG, I'm curious what the back story on your bike is.

I don't think any were "officially" imported into the US.  Some found their way here.

Kinda like the 1969 Camaro DZ302. Originally 20 thousand made, but now there are half million left. Seriously  if you  go by Ian Falloon's book, 750S's were made to look like V7 sports (with disc brakes) when sent to the US (most likely at Joe/Mike Berliners request). Certainly it would be nice for WG members who have them to give us a bit of a count. Selfishly said, a few pics wont hurt either

From reference pictures I have kept, none are mine

But I have heard from a reliable source that at least two more are being 'built' in North America ;)
