Matt said last year was the "WETTEST" Rally he has seen in 30 years, but about 45 brave souls rode anyway! :thumb:  When the weather cooperates, there is no finer place to ride than Datil, New Mexico! :thumb:

Talking about a rally is easier than sponsoring one.   :tongue:  Nearest ones for you would be the NV state rally in Dayton, NV or Oregon if the state club sponsors one.

Well, I am 5 years retired now...and don't have drive / ambition / desire to put on any more rallies going forward. 
It's a helluva lot of work and out of pocket expense, as you might know... :rolleyes: :shocked:

However, I am more than happy to contribute and attend the annual Datil Rally in New Mexico, and the NORCAL Guzzi Rally in Susanville, CA in 2024.  The Dayton, NV Rally is also a good one and I have attended previously...The Oregon Rally near John Day is also a big hit... :thumb: :boozing: :cool:

Also, remember the SOCAL Guzzi Rally for a few years at Lake Henshaw, CA?  That was fun while it lasted...

For Arizona, suggest you contact and  "pimp" the current AZ Guzzi Rep, Jim McDermott... :wink:

We have a good time at the Dayton Rally. Laid back with excellent food. Susanville is a good time also.

If you are talking about the Dayton, NV Rally, YES, hotel / motels / casinos down the road in Carson City...

The same for Datil, New Mexico, motels in Quemado and Magdalena...and 8 rooms on site at the Eagles Next campground...

For the NORCAL Guzzi Rally in Susanville, CA, we stayed a mile away at a Best Western. By the way, THE NEXT NORCAL GUZZI Rally is not until 2024...

$50 entry fee for the rally...so usually about 70-75 people show up, if the weather is good!  :cool:

So your odds of winning the GIVE-AWAY bike are 1:75.  Last year it was 1:45 due to the rainy weather!  :thumb:

Much better ODDS than any state LOTTERY!! :wink: :wink: :wink: :thumb:

How about making a sticky for the upcoming rallies so they just stay up top!

This one, Wisconsin, Iowa, and all of the others...

Last time I went thru Pie town a couple of years ago and stopped for some fresh pie at that same spot...are they still operating?  I heard a rumor they closed down...

Good to know they are still operating...nothing like some fresh apple pie in Pie Town.
