Have now put about 1500kms on her, got some happy snaps taken by a guru photographer friend of mine, and today had the old girls dyno'd to see if the pro's modern technology is better than my seat of the pants dyno.... It is!!! they leaned out the mains lifted the needles ect after balancing the carbs, the results are very noticable, it was i though reasonably good before, but is much sharper now, well worth getting done!
 To do still, set the seat sorted, it could do with some softer cushioning, and will have to do a bit of research into front suspensions, the forks are a bit stiff for my liking, gets a bit unsettled on rougher roads with some shaking of the head. I fitted new FAC units which are running with zero pressure in them which seems to be what most recommend, but am also using the stock SP springs which i am thinking may be a bit stiff now considering the bikes reduced weight. any recommendations or knowledge on the subject would be appreciated, cheers.

Photoshop is an powerful tool. Notice how much nicer the bike's design looks in the professionally shot and processed images. The photographer's choice of background, highlight, view and focus enhances the bike's proportions by understating the black parts and highlighting the chrome and aluminum parts.

You asked about ideas for the front forks?
I'm part way though a Tonti cafe build, and had the forks fettled by a very well respected company over here in the UK, called MCT http://www.mctsuspension.com/Home.html

I've retained the 35 mm original forks but the inners are shoe horned in from a Suzuki GSXR 600 circa 2002.

I'm still building so haven't tried them yet, but you did ask for ideas.

You could email MCT and ask for advice, Darren is the magician who did the machining.
