this chrome cast thing works really good.

Lots of drafting in the 2nd heat.

Looks like Harley has reworked that little 750.  Seems like a wimpy bike on the street.  They must've really beefed it up for racing.

The race motor and street motor don't share any internal parts .

yeah Dusty. Those bikes are built by Vance and Hines.

My understanding is that V&H has some new heads and cam profiles in the works . They are down about 10 HP to the Indians , maybe a bit more .

AFT singles on fanschoice this evening . Springfield TT course , they will turn right at least once every lap , and there is a jump . Watch Shayna mix it up with the boys .

Structural problems in the main grandstands , there are temporary stands located around the track .

Springfield TT was some great racing, Hayden Gillum was flying. I didn't mind sitting on the grass watching the races, but hopefully the grandstands will be repaired  before the next race.
I am looking forward to the Mile races today.

I watched on Fanschoice, was cool seeing Mees out there, most likely for extra points.

My feed wouldn't work , are you sure that was Jared Mees in the AFT Singles race . The points don't transfer .

yes,  Mees.

Interesting , there is a provision in the AFT rulebook that allows a rider to move a class for one race a season , although it is kind of confusing . Shayna is entered in the Mile today using a provisional start card . Where did Jared finish ?

1st in the Final Expert. Maybe it was for the fun of it, practice & something to do. I forgot it was 2 different series of racing.

Ahh , so Jared was racing in the Steve Nace event , not the AFT sanctioned race . Now that makes sense . There were probably other plate holders scattered thru the Nace program , lots of them race in that series also .

yes,  two classes,  Expert and AFT Singles.  Hayden Gillim was winner in the Singles class and Mees Expert.

The promoters should have allowed the singles to race , this all HD support class isn't working out so well , 3 XR 750's in a heat race

The Kawasakis and Yamahas have found some speed .

I couldn't get the Fanschoice video up.  Got the updates live but no video feed.  This has happened to me before.  I'm a little po'ed as we had a couple of local Canadian boys make it to the semi's,  Mike Labelle and Don Taylor .  Anyone have a solution or am I not alone in not being able to watch.

Cheers, Tim

Tim , try the AFT FB video feed .

Davis Fisher (Kawasaki) and Sammy Halbert (Yamaha) have been faster than the Indians for a few laps . Restart now .
