Seaba Station Motorcycle Museum
« on: August 12, 2018, 04:31:37 PM »
I am about to buy a motorcycle from Gerald Tims. He owns the Seaba Station Motorcyle museum in Chandler, OK. Is this the same gentleman that sold the 750S and the 1000S a while back? Did everything go well with those sales?

I know Gerald.  He's reputable and bought and sold lots of bikes.  Darren on the board has purchased several bikes from him when he used to own the local Triumph and Suzuki shop until he got sick of it.

Yes, he's responsible for Seaba station as well.

If you have any issues, I can talk to Gerald.

I don't know about the Guzzis you mention.

I did not find a website, but here is a nice YouTube video of the Seaba Station museum.

Thank you John. That was all I was looking for. I figured someone here would know him.

Just to clarify , Geral owns a good portion of the bikes in Seaba Station , but I do believe that Jerry Ries actually owns the business . Both are good guys .

When I was in high school, the museum building was an auto machine shop, and my after school job detailing cars at a local car dealer was also to deliver and pick up rebuilt heads and other parts. Loved that building and the machinery, even as filthy as it was then. Triggers a lot of memories of youth, fast cars and bikes.

Thanks Dusty for the clarification.

I stop there several times a year , mostly because of how international the parking and sitting area can be on any given day .

It is fun to hang out and chat with the euro folks. We get that here @ Fantastic Caverns and Halltown, Mo. too. (Just down the "Mother Road")

My /5 was parked under the portico at Seaba, a couple of HD riders walked by , one of them commented , "I'll bet that old BMW still runs" . When they went Inside Jerry mentioned he hoped it still ran , or that old white haired guy sitting out front was gonna have to walk back to Muskogee

Thanks again for the help. I talked to Gerald on the phone last night. He seems very nice and genuine. We will be able to work together. I'm looking into getting the shipping arranged and I should have another Guzzi to ride in a few weeks.
