Living the dream. Good for you.

Larry
Thanks Larry yes I feel very lucky. Went up to a guzzi rally over the weekend in North Yorkshire, Skipton in fact. Saw this wonderful Cafe jackel. I'll have to show in the Andy when I get back.

I'm not sure that I'd use the word "sporty" to describe either that Cali 1400 or either of my Harley's.

However - I snapped this pic at Cedar Vale.... I cannot remember who owns this fine fine example of a motorcycle, but I have to say that it looks "sporty", just sitting there.

Yes ?

Here's a pic of my Wife, and her little friend Leroy.

He's friendly and very rideable, but can't gallop worth a hoot.

Hi Mick, it was great to meet you at Skipton. The bike started out as a 2001 California Special / Bassa. I was trying to create a Roadster. It usually has a humped seat fitted, but I used the flat seat in the pic to carry luggage. I've fitted Hagon shocks since the before and after pics were taken.

Back in 05 at the Formula 1 race at Indy. (the race with 5 or 6 competitors - Bridgestone shod cars.  The Michelin cars pulled out after one lap!)  Anyway... at the aprilia party, all of the Futura owners were told to take their steeds down to the curb for a picture.   I kid you not...this is how they lined up!  Not bad color coordination without a plan!
We also rode the 06 Breva there another year and sat in 100 degree bumper to bumper traffic.  She handled the heat awesomely!  I would have been in a panic with any other bike in that sweltering traffic.
Always liked this image.
