Every now and then, I go to "searchtempest" and search "guzzi" within 400 miles, just to see what's out there.  Haven't done that in over a month.

So - I go out there now, and it's virtually bare, except for a few dealer entries.

Do people just delete their "for sale" ads when the winter turns cold?

Just posted an ad on CL, no problem, no charge. About the sixth one this year, been cleaning out the garage and tool shed. Not sure why there's problems down there but haven't heard of anyone being charged in Alaska. Don't know if they have Facebook ads here, since I'm not signed up.

My comment was a reply to the original posting:

"I went to repost my monthly ad for the MN Guzzi Breakfast.  Huh, whats this.... $5.00 to run the ad."

As I said, I've never been charged for a CL ad. Maybe they charge based on how many times you post? Might just be an automated response that's triggered by your repeat posting.

Craigslist has the right to charge for its service...  But really, with FB market place taking such a huge part of its market, why pound that last nail in??
