Norge exhaust
« on: January 07, 2022, 06:14:55 PM »
Been researching after market exhaust for the new to me Norge (2009). Mistral is my first choice, but MG cycle says it could be 2 to 3 mo. The price has increased to Agostini levels. Anyone have experience with Mivv or GPR? If so, will they work ok with the factory center stand?

I found GPR's work very nice on a Norge. Get the TriOval one. Reasonably priced.

Hey Steve, thanks for the advice. Do you remember if the GPR works ok with the factory center stand? I emailed Mivv and they responded back quickly, telling me that the Norge they used when developing their exhaust wasn't fitted with a center stand.

It just so happens I have a Mistral carbon that I had on my '13 Norge for a very short time.  I no longer have that bike so I would be willing to sell it and would ship out first of the week.  PM me if you are interested or have further questions.  The Mistral is a very sweet sound on the Norge.  It is not obnoxiously loud like many others.

Trailsman, I wish I saw your post last night. I ordered a GPR. If the GPR doesn't work out, I'll give you a call. Huzo, your Norge is really sweet. I love the high exhaust but the wire wheels are absolutely beautiful 😍.

Yeah, I always reckoned they should have been built that way. But it’s one of those things, you either want it or you don’t.
Strangely, I just finished taking the high one off my V85 and fitting a low one.

Even I can’t explain that one.

WOW. A V85 street fighter. I love it. Why Guzzi does not build that is beyond me.

The “street fighter” tag never occurred to me, it just ended up looking that way.
