Title: Cadre Cycle in Cincinnatti - Thank You
Post by: kballowe on April 24, 2021, 05:28:47 AM
I was trying to source a genuine Moto Guzzi windshield for an Eldorado 1400.  The "kit" is no longer available, and so it's off to the microfiche. As it turns out, even some of THOSE parts are not available.

Not to be deterred, the parts bin bandits at Cadre Cycle were able to collect enough bits to assemble (probably) the last Eldorado 1400 windshield on the planet.

But WAIT !   There's more !

They were even able to provide me with a motorcycle to go with the windshield !  I would like to add that the transaction was smooth as silk.  This is our second motorcycle from Cadre Cycle.

Is this a great place, or what ???

Great to hear!  Hamlin and the crew are the same way.  I feel for those who don't have the same type experience with their (lack of) dealership experience.

Kevin:  See if Enzo can find you some of the lowers that go with that windshield.  It will be smooth sailing once you have those installed.  When I put the shield on my 1400 custom, it was good but still buffeted.  When I added my trusty top flip up it helped, but it was adding those lowers that made the package perfect.  Now, I don't say that this is an inexpensive operation.  Also, have him get you one of the Corbin seats for it, your butt will thank you.
Beautiful bike - enjoy.

Enzo is a stand up dude. Very happy with the Cal-Vin I got from him. :thumb:

Can you post a picture of your bike? I want to see what you have done, especially the lowers. I did everything I could think of with the Harley I had.  No matter what I did I couldn't get rid of the buffering. Sorry for the thread drift.

I've been unable to sell my windshield and seats off of my former Eldo 1400. If any body is interested let me know.

Sounds like you should sit on (no pun intended) the seat and shield for a few years. May become a pricey commodity!

I could not find that stuff in the 4sale section.  What do you have ?
