Got cap off. Pretty clean. Do I call it good, spray some deoxit and pack a little petroleum jelly in it?Or is there something on the other side of the white terminal disc that should be looked at?
Dielectric grease. Vaseline melts at 37C / 99F; and on a suitable wick, like a cotton ball, (or fabric insulation) makes a handy fire starter.

Where did you here that nonsense, electricians have been using Petroleum Jelly aka Vaseline on sliding contacts for at least 60 years that I know of and probably long before my time. Cotton balls and fabric insulation on the other hand may not be a good idea. Several of the members who know something about dielectric grease on the other hand are dead against it for contacts.
