If you search on the web for a driver there are a few , just type driver for OBD2 KKL 16 pin to USB cable with the FTDI chip

I can look to see what I have but I searched for mine from a safe site, I didn't use theirs.

My experience, for what it's worth:

1981 T3 California, I replaced presumably original, definitely worn out springs and dampers with Worth springs and Bitubo dampers. Have read about long break-in periods, but that wasn't my experience - things felt better from the start and very happy now. Now the rear.... needs attention....

I removed the allen screws and didn't feel much difference. I see no difference between having valve stems or allen screws plugging the holes, except that I can't add air to the shocks.  I'm thinking the springs are just too stiff for my weight. The dampers work as they should, it's the springs.

I read this on the forecast report for next week!  Yay!  No more smoke it looks like!

Clearing trend: Earlier heavy smoke and alerts from Canadian and regional wildfires have dissipated.

I am insured with a company that locks in your rate.  So, as long as you don't make any changes (add or subtract) the premium stays the same.
However, when I sold a car and went down from 4 to 3, my premium went up $800.00.  Hard to wrap your head around that.  One of my vehicles
is a 2016 RAM ProMaster High Roof.  I kept the interior pretty wide open with minimal build out so I can use as a truck to haul stuff and motorcycles,
and use cots to camp out of.  Difficult to find an insurance that will insure it.  Not sure why, especially since I put minimum miles on it yearly which
I documented to insurance company.  I think it has to do with most of the time these are used as business delivery vehicles and would have higher
rate of claims due to being on the highway daily.  Mine only has 35,000 miles on it in 10 years.

I also had the same issue with motorcycle insurance.  I went from 5 to 3 and my rate went up.  When I inquired, I was told that because I have
fewer bikes, I am more likely to put more miles on a particular bike and thus have a higher probability of an accident vs same miles spread over
more bikes.  If anyone has any input on this pretzel logic I would love to hear it.  So, I get a discount for multiple motorcycles but less of a discount
when I have 3 verses 5 bikes.   Insurance is the ultimate business.  You have to have it, but are hesitant to use it in many instances because if you
do, your rates will usually go up.  Even if you went many years with out any claims.

General Discussion / Re: possible 2023 MG Mandello S purchase
« Last post by bronzestar1 on Today at 09:10:12 AM »
Wasn't '23 the first production year for the "new" V100 engines?  I'd pass if that was the case, the first year had known problems.  If you're dead set on a V100 Mandello, do some shopping around for deals on new '24s and '25s.  Whether the S model is worth the extra money is up for debate.  I had a '24 V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale, traded it in after owning it for about 16 months, only put 700 or so miles on it.  There was this very annoying jerky clunk when shifting it from neutral into first.  For a bike that costs this much, that transmission should shift buttery smooth.  I traded it in on a '25 Triumph Speed Twin 1200, no regrets.

I made the mistake of putting Wirth springs on a set of new Bitubo's after going through a set of FAC's which I also didn't like on my CX as it took me almost two years to get those springs somewhat broken in and that was after I took an almost 4,000 mile trip on the bike. I don't know why I didn't remove them and install the stock springs.
