Love it! Towed with my R1100RSL-ABS, my ‘09 Norge, and I’ll be towing with my Roadster this year. No one thought I should be towing with any of those...For me, towing is better than piling. Works for me!

That’s a lot like my K1200LT and Uni-go trailer, minus about 700 lbs!

I've seen some very happy, satisfied, and competent long-haul riders touring on old two-stroke Vespa or Lambretta scooters.   Somewhere, I've got a copy of a 1976 or so "Rider" magazine with a tour comparison of the capabilities of an R75/5 Beemer dresser and a Vespa with a homemade top-box.

You can do just about the same thing with both of them if you believe .... !

Yep, I've always said touring on a motorcycle is all about ones endurance not the particular motorcycle.

My Piaggio BV has already made one trip to the Rockies. I’ll probably take it to AmeriVespa the next time they do it at an interesting locale.

Glenn, one of my riding buddies, has done several 5,000 mile plus rides on a Vespa GTS300.  Last one was a 6,000 mile trip from Texas, up the west coast and home.

BTW, Glenn is about to turn 84.

Yep, read http://250superhero.blogspot.com/ for Stephanie's adventures around the Americas on her 250cc Vespa.  She has gotten behind her posting as she has been in the Far East for the last several months.

Love riding with here when she gets to California.
