Staintune for Daytona/Sports
« on: April 21, 2019, 08:35:55 AM »
I somehow missed this post back in December on FB, but they have produced more sets of these pipes. A complete set is $1,750 dollars plus shipping, but from what I read it would be wise to contact Adam by phone to confirm availability and current pricing.

Always liked Staintunes. I might even be tempted if they made them for the 1400. First set I bought for my EV was 600 bucks. Some years later, I bought them for the second EV I picked up. They were nearly double that. Maybe it's a good thing they're not out there tempting me.

Apparently the company is up for sale, but the potential buyer will continue to make them.

Have them on one 1000S and the Strada.  Nice sound.  They came with the bikes.  :thumb:

Do Staintune exhausts usually come with a chip? My Sport 1100 had a chip marked "Staintune " on it. Ran like shit! But it didn't have a Staintune exhaust.

I actually send a email to the customer service department at Staintune in Australia about six month ago asking them if I could still buy a complete Staintune system for one of my 1997 Sports, and........ I got nothing in return. Not even a "Hell No"......

So please let me know if anybody actually gets some feedback from Staintune, and more importantly, if that exhaust is still available for purchase.

One of my yellow 1997's has a complete Stainetune system with a K&N filter and the Creedon chip, and that bike sounds great.

Staintune System

I also just bought a Silver 1995 1100 Sport that I'm picking up this weekend in Chicago IL, which has a complete Termignoni exhaust. I never owned or heard a bike run with a Termignoni full exhaust, so that is something I'm looking forward of hearing and riding. It's going to be interesting to see on how the different types of exhausts (Staintune, Termignoni, Mistral, and stock) will sound on my 1100 Sports.

Termignoni System

This is one of my 1997's with a Mistral exhaust. That exhaust sounds really nice too. This bike also has a K&N filter and the Creedon chip.

And then we have a stock exhaust on this black 1997. This is the bike that I wanted to buy the Staintune exhaust for.

I'm good mate. Out of work at the moment so laying low. I have a photo printed off of you from our last ride and I also have that rear wheel stand if you still want it.

I have a "new in the box", never unwrapped, Staintune header/crossover set for the Sport 1100 / Daytona.  (no mufflers).

Part of my stash I've been keeping for years.  I'll part with the set, if anyone is interested.  PM me.

$750 shipped, OBO.

As of December 18 they shipped out an entire set and as I posted at top, call them up and talk to Adam. I may call them up and see if he will sell one muffler as one of mine has a slight problem. If you contact him, let us know what he says.

MedicAndy,

Do you need a NIB Staintune header/crossover set?   :bike-037:
